Brywood - Kids Stuff Center

Kids Stuff Brywood is an on-site before & after school program serving grades K-6th at Brywood Elementary School. Through various activities in art, math, science, multicultural, health and fitness, our staff works diligently to create a safe environment for our students to grow physically, socially, emotionally, and academically. Everyday we challenge our students to be their best self as they discover and develop their authentic identity. Continuing to provide the care, experience & memories for the children, we hope to maintain consistent communication with families throughout the year!

Hello! My name is Mirial and I am the Director at Kids Stuff Brywood! I have been with Kids Stuff Santiago Hills for the past 8 years and I am now starting my journey over at Brywood. I started off as a Teacher’s Aide and was able to work my way up throughout the years. What I love most about working with kids is being able to make a positive impact on all of them. Although I’ve worked with children for some time, I still have so much to learn from them! On my spare time, I like to explore different food places and spend quality time with my family. I am super excited to build long lasting relationships with all the families at Kids Stuff!

Hi Kids Stuff Family! Like for many of our kiddos, Kids Stuff is also my home away from home. In 1999, at the age of 19, I started at Kids Stuff as a recreational leader and knew right away that my heart for children was in the right place. I graduated from UCI in 2002 with a B.A. in Sociology and Education and received my M.A. and Teaching Credential in 2004. Shortly after graduating, I knew my teaching career would forever continue at Kids Stuff and not in the classroom as I had originally planned. As Kids Stuff's Administrator Director now, I truly love working alongside the Directors and Leaders! I love mentoring them and helping them in shaping our Kids Stuff kiddos to be respectful, loving, hard working, kind and compassionate citizens and most importantly, to feel important! At home, I love spending time with my husband and two children, Nicholas and Sydnee. My husband and I enjoy coaching and watching our kids play sports. When we have some free time away from sports, we love to go camping and spend family time together wherever that may be. I am so thankful and blessed to be part of the Kids Stuff Family!
